- Guiding the work of the system in support of the objectives laid out in the Strategic Plan
- Upholding and championing the human rights of all students, staff and community members
- Fostering an educational system that prepares students for success as we move towards the 22nd century

Human Rights and Equity Advisor

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a culture of respect for human rights.
- Supervise the Human Rights Branch.
- Support resolution of human rights complaints.
- Provide education and information on human rights matters.
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
- Chair the Accessibility Committee.
- Oversee the 5-Year Accessibility Plan.
